Before joining 6cyclemind, Hernandez had founded Moonstar88, where he continues to serve as lead guitarist and songwriter. In 2010, Hernandez also initiated Lakihan mo Logo (“Make the Logo Bigger”), a concert series showcasing bands formed by Manila-based advertising professionals. This initiative provides a stress-relieving outlet for ad industry creatives. Reflecting on his own struggles balancing music and advertising, Hernandez created a space where others could pursue their passions. Over the years, Lakihan mo Logo has hosted 58 concerts, with some participants even securing recording deals. Additionally, Hernandez organized 12 “Rockovery” concerts to fundraise for critically ill advertising colleagues.
